Paddling down the river was completely unplanned; after grinding for hours I started to miss land.
Fascinated to watch fish and lily-pads pass, what a beauty the riverbed full of grass. Caught in what I am seeing, lost attention to my being.
Need some movement in my knees, go for a walk to embrace the trees. . .this texture feels like history, the forest sounds have much mystery, the wind blows leaving a smell so crisply.
Sharpen one sense, lose quality of another. When I head up river, enhancing them I will remember.
Too much thinking when I should pay attention, as I put my thoughts away I will mention ... experiences using my senses have me feeling awakened.
While we are rushing or lost in relaxation ... we miss experiences as we move along our days, bypassing to understand in all types of ways.
How long has it been here? Where did these marks come from? What encourages its growth? When will it reach its optimal?
What if we leave the question afloat ... write down continuous answers as a private note. Then we would simply see, one answer there could not be.

A diversity in upbringings, experiences, interpretations. One question has an array of answers ... not only the answer, but the question too, an array of definitions. If we are so different, how is our answer the right interpretation of the question?
How many books have we studied and can't recall? Were we memorizing for a test or discovering to understand?
When we discover something new ... using our senses creates an understanding hard to forget. No matter how it's interpreted, answers are experienced.
A day in darkness, a week without sound, a month without taste ... craving to continue again, to feel awakened after we abstain. A good night’s rest and our senses feel new. These gifts we can use as we pursue to learn.
